The "Jassass-a-phone"

Along with his career in Movies, Music and TV, Smiley also was also an inventor or many things. Let us tell you about a few of them:

Cinevision

So you thought Cinevision was a fairly new concept. Smiley developed a multimedia theater back in the 40’s. A man of foresight, Smiley understood his public and their varied economic situations. He therefore developed a means of bringing his music and visual artistry to all.

Smiley created a slide show in which four of his popular songs were placed on a record (78 rpm) and 35mm slides were placed in individual pockets and mounted on a carrier. He had within the album a description and drawings of each song so that anyone could follow along as the record progressed.

Since not everyone had access to a slide projector and/or screen, Smiley had the forethought to make the back inside cover of the album a projector screen. All one had to do was shine a flashlight through the slide and project it on to the back cover screen as the music was played.

Smiley found himself in the same perplexing situation we all have faced from time to time - Coat Hangers, they get all tangled together, and generally clutter up the place. Smiley decided to produce this booklet on the coat hanger's other uses.
